Warehouse moves!
On the 9th October, the Foodbank warehouse relocated from Erdington to St Matthew’s Church, 63 Wardlow Road, Nechells, B7 4JH. The warehouse will be open every Tuesday between 10:00 – 13:00 to receive donations. Volunteers summer BBQ
On the 31st August volunteers from the different sites of Aston, Nechells and Washwood Heath joined together for a BBQ. We had great weather and good company. Many thanks to David Fletcher for cooking, and everyone who brought scrumptious puddings!

Increased demand for food
According to new figures just released by The Trussell Trust, between April 2017 and March 2018, Aston Nechells Foodbank supplied 3,056 people with emergency food parcels. 1,123 children and 1,933 adults – this is a rise of 12.5% over the previous year. Generous support at Tesco collections
Many thanks to all the generous shoppers who supported our most recent collections at Aston Lane Tesco, on Saturday 27th January and Saturday 17th March. Approximately a tonne of food was donated across the two collections.

Amey help with Christmas Foodbank Collection
A big thank you to many staff from Amey who helped with the three day collection back in December 2017. Volunteers from the company helped at Aston Lane Tesco, and with sorting out the donations at the Aston and Nechells Foodbank warehouse afterwards.

Birmingham New Street Station collection Friday 13th July 2018
