Latest news January 2021

Aston and Nechells Foodbank will continue to be open at all of our normal times throughout the national lockdown.
We can help all those who come to our distribution sessions.  If at all possible, they should come with either a red voucher or a code E-referral voucher given to them by one of the many partner agencies in the city.

Some agencies are still able to issue Foodbank vouchers in person, but if this is not possible then please be aware that Birmingham settlement continue to provide telephone help for those who need to access a Foodbank voucher.  You can call the Birmingham Settlement telephone money advice service on 0121 250 0765.
Leave your name and contact details on their voicemail. They will ring you back. They can give advice on a wide range of monetary problems. Over the phone they can issue you with a code that can be redeemed as a voucher at any of the Trussell Trussell Foodbank distribution centres in Birmingham.  Details of the Aston and Nechells locations can be found here

Please note that we are unable to undertake home deliveries. If people need food brought to them for reasons due to Covid 19 they should contact Birmingham City Council via www.birmingham.gov.uk or by telephoning 0121 216 3030.

We ask all those who attend any of our Monday, Wednesday or Friday distribution sessions to wear a face covering.  If anyone cannot wear a face covering we shall respect this.  They will still be able to collect their parcel in the same way as we have run the sessions throughout the covid crisis. Everyone maintains social distancing and use of sanitizer in order to keep clients and our volunteers as safe as we can.
