State of Hunger report

The Trussel Trust have commissioned a study into the causes of hunger in the UK and why people may need support from Foodbanks.

We know from experience at Aston and Nechells Foodbank that there can be a range of factors: benefit delays or sanctions, low pay, increased cost of living, unexpected events such as bereavement.

The report goes into more detail and suggests how policy needs to change.
