Summer closure at Aston Salvation Army (Fridays)

Birmingham City Council contractors are demolishing Osborne Tower opposite the Salvation Army Aston.  This has started in the last week of July.

Unfortunately due to very high dust levels the Salvation Army building is not currently safe to open for food distribution.

We have decided not to open on this Friday or the first 3 Fridays in August.

Friday 26th July – CLOSED – please see list of alternatives below

Friday 2nd August – CLOSED – please see list of alternatives below

Friday 9th August – CLOSED – please see list of alternatives below

Friday 16th August – CLOSED – please see list of alternatives below

Friday 23rd August – The centre will be open again as usual 12.30pm – 2.30pm

All Trussell Trust Foodbanks will redeem each others vouchers and Job Centre Plus signposting letters.

All of our Monday and Wednesday sessions will be open as normal, except for August Bank Holiday Monday 26th August when there will be no distribution at St Matthews Church Centre, 63 Wardlow Rd, Nechells B7 4JH.
